Pengaruh radiasi gamma pada kalus terhadap regenerasi tanaman asparagus.



Tanggal ketik: 19951118, xx. rnDokumentalis: xx. rnSari: Plant regeneration of asparagus derived from irradiated callus with dose rate of 5, 10 and 20 Gray was studied. Calluses were induced on MS-1/2 SG2 and MS-G2 medium during 25 days in dark room. Percentages of callus formation obtained around 87.3 and 70.2 percent on MS-1/2 SG2 and MS-G2 respectively. Irradiated calluses derived from MS-1/2 SG2 medium obtained regenerated shoot on regeneration medium around 68.4, 74.3 and 39.6 percent for dose rate of 5, 10 and 20 Gray respectively. While regenerated shoot derived from irradiated calluses on MS-G2 medium with dose rate of 5, 10 and 20 Gray obtained shoot regeneration around 49.0, 55.9 and 41.8 percent respectively. Results from those experiment concluded that gamma radiation inhibited shoot regeneration, but possible that genetic variation in plantlets were produced.
